Redstone Micro-Castle

This owner-built home has the simplest of footprints, a perfect rectangle, which saves a lot on the cost of foundation and framing.  To give the home character and interest, the roof lines were articulated by the reverse shed dormer above the Dining Room shown here.   The roof and walls are constructed of SIP's (Structural Insulated Panels) which makes for a tight, well-insulated shell.
